In Boston and worldwide, women and underrepresented communities struggle with health inequities. They need greater representation in the healthcare establishment to advocate for their needs and provide critical healthcare services.

The programs and offices of the Center for Faculty Development & Diversity reflect our commitment to bringing diverse individuals into the Brigham and Women’s Hospital community, and into the healthcare field in general, in order to enhance their career paths, strengthen their communities and make us a better, more inclusive, and more effective institution.

Diversity, a long-standing value of ours, is more important now than ever before to truly improve our healthcare system. The programs, fellowships, internships, and awards that we provide reflect our desire to contribute to an atmosphere of diversity, where every individual has the ability thrive.
