The Center provides myriad resources in recognition of the importance of mentoring in the career development of all faculty and fellows.   Resources and support are available to both mentors and mentees to assist in the development of beneficial mentorship relationships.

Faculty Mentoring Leadership Program (FMLP)
FMLP is a 9-session peer learning program designed to enhance the effectiveness of mid-career and senior faculty physician and scientist mentors.

Mentoring Circles Program (MCP)
MCP involves circles of postdoctoral peers who meet on a regular basis for an agreed upon length of time.

Grant Writing Circles Pilot
This program is designed to use a mentor/mentee model to teach grant-writing skills and provide support to postdocs in the process of writing and submitting grants. It is also an opportunity for senior postdocs with grant-writing experience to mentor junior postdocs.

The Art & Practice of Mentoring Seminar Series
A series of interactive, case-based topical sessions about mentoring relationships.  With the CFDD Mentoring Curriculum & Toolkit as a backdrop, the seminars explore common themes and apply concepts in a novel exchange of learning and mentoring.

CHADD Mentoring Course
The Consortium of Harvard Affiliated Offices and Centers for Faculty Development and Diversity (CHADD) organizes this annual, pan-HMS one-day faculty development course for mentors.


The BWH Mentoring Toolkit & Curriculum is a collection of pearls, cases, readings, resources, and tools to help both mentors and mentees navigate the challenges of mentoring relationships in the academic medical setting.
