Our Wellness Series (formerly Faculty Forward series) is designed to support faculty and trainees at various career stages with issues related to a broad spectrum of wellness-related issues, including holistic work/life integration, strategies for avoiding burnout and approaches to career transitions. Many of these seminars are co-sponsored with the Brigham and Women’s Physicians Organization (BWPO).

- The Center for Faculty Development & Diversity and Boston College Medical Humanities are pleased to collaborate on the 2017 Narrative Medicine Symposium. Faculty, trainees and staff from Harvard Medical School, its affiliated teaching hospitals, and the Boston College medical humanities community are warmly welcomed to attend. This program comprises one aspect of our innovative Narrative Medicine Initiative. Join us for seminars and workshops designed to enhance wellness and cultivate narrative communication skills as a framework for care, helping you to engage more empathically and collaboratively with patients, colleagues and the broader medical community. This symposium will also emphasize the personal and professional significance of storytelling for researchers and hospital staff, as well as clinicians.
