The Office for Research Careers (ORC) addresses the specific needs of postdoctoral fellows and faculty investigators in the research community at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.  The ORC was founded in 2006 to look after the nationally recognized needs of postdoctoral fellows, and we have since broadened our mission to address the needs and interests of researchers at all levels across the academic continuum.

The ORC is part of the Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (CFDD), which also includes the Office for Multicultural Careers (OMC) and the Office for Women’s Careers (OWC). The CFDD provides a comprehensive and coordinated approach to the recruitment, career advancement and professional development of all faculty and fellows at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
